Hygienic flooring suits any environment that needs an extremely durable, stain-resistant and easily maintained floor. It works especially well alongside hygienic wall cladding: the strong vinyl is coved 150mm up the wall, and the cladding is fixed 50mm over the top of it.
That leaves a 100mm sealed upstand — a junction that is watertight, easy to clean and has nowhere for water or bacteria to sit. It is the right detail for wet rooms, shower rooms and kitchens.
